Viewing More Than One Security on a Single Chart

The Overlay function makes it possible for you to display different securities on a single chart. This function can be used to compare the relative strength between different securities.

Overlay Chart

Common uses include comparing the Share Price Index Futures with the All Ordinaries Index, comparing a security like BHP with the All Ordinaries Index, and comparing securities of the same sector. A popular investment strategy is to only buy the strongest securities in the strongest sectors.

The screen shot above charts the SGB security prices with the ANZ security prices.
