Currently, there isn't a Mac version of The Bourse. However, The Bourse can be run on a Mac using a Windows emulation program such as Virtual PC.

Customers on plans that offer dynamic screen updates obtain a continuous stream of data, from the Bourse Data System. This means that the data in each view is continually updated in front of them, whilst they are using the Bourse.
Plans that offer snapshot screen updates allow customers to obtain snapshots of current market data from the Bourse Data System. Customers need to request current data each time they wish to update a screen (usually by clicking on the Request button). Excess usage charges can apply. There are no extra charges for dynamically updated data and the number of screen updates is unlimited. Contact our Customer Care Team if you would like information about how you can upgrade your subscription to have dynamic data.
When you subscribe to Bourse Data you have access to approx. 10 years worth of historical security data. This applies to charts and price history (end of day downloading). If you require more data, the Bourse Historical Data CD is available for puchase.
If you already have a Bourse account, you can download and upgrade your program for FREE from our Download page.
If you are installing from the Bourse CD, then insert the Bourse CD ROM into your CD ROM drive. The Bourse should begin installing automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation.
All the most popular chart types are available, including Candlestick, OHLC, HLC, Line, Overlay, Common Base, Point and Figure, Three Line Break and Cycle Price Line charts.
Charts can be displayed in Logarithmic Scale or Arithmetic/Linear Scale.
Chart Periods can be set to Daily, Weekly or Monthly. Intraday and Tick charts are also available for customers on Dynamic services such as the Bourse Trader.
A comprehensive range of technical indicators are provided, including ADXR, Bear Power, Bollinger Bands, Bull Power, Commodity Channel Index, Cstats (Stochastic), D+/D-, Directional Movement Index (DMI), Ease of Movement, Envelopes, Estrangement, Exponential Moving Average, Force Index, Fourier Analysis, Holy Grail, Lognormal Volatility, MACD, Mass Index, Momentum, Money Flow Index, Moving Average, Negative Volume Index, On Balance Volume, Parabolic SAR, Positive Volume Index, Price Oscillator, Price Volume Trend, Rate of Change, Relative Strength Index, Variable Accumulation / Distribution, Variable Accumulation Oscillator, Volatility (ATR), Volatility System, Volume, Weighted Moving Average, and Williams Percentage R.
Useful chart tools are provided, including trend/support tools (Linear Regression, Measurement Tool, Parallel Lines, Support Line, and Trend Line), drawing tools (%R Arc, %R Graph, %R Tabular, Gann Rays, Ellipse, Fibonacci, Rectangle, and Text Tool) and editing tools (Chart Compression and Expansion, Cross Bar, Eraser, Move Tool).
International Data is available in world summaries, charting and watch lists.
You are able to view up to 200 stocks on a single watch list.
You can construct as many watch lists as you like.
All Bourse subscription plans offer a maximum of twelve screens opened at any one time. Customers on Dynamic Data plans can upgrade their subscription to include up to 20 screens for free by contacting our Customer Care Team on 1300 363 766 in Australia, between 8.30am and 5.30pm EST weekdays.
The T on your Market Depth screen stands for thousand. You can change this to 000 by right clicking on the Market Depth screen and choosing 'Turn off abbreviated quantity/volume'
Yes, you can export text-based data from the Bourse to be used in other systems using the Data Converter that can be found under the File menu and choosing the Export submenu. Read the software help for instructions.
Yes. For customers on the dynamic Bourse services (such as the Bourse Dynamic Data), tick history is available through the Securities menu. Customers on snapshot Bourse services (such as the Bourse Delayed Data) cannot obtain tick history dynamically, but can obtain tick history data using the Market Depth view. Contact our Customer Care Team if you would like information about how you can upgrade your subscription to activate dynamic data.

The alarms feature is a powerful tool that sets the Bourse to watch your securities for you while you are connected to the Bourse Data System. The Bourse will sound an alarm (or flash an event notification) when any conditions you have specified are met. For example, you might set the Bourse to alert you when the price for a particular security rises by a certain amount or a large volume of the security has been traded.
Yes. The Bourse has two sophisticated search facilities. One provides multiple ways of determining the complete name, symbol (code) and exchange of a security. The other facility searches for any items in stock market or financial news that interest you.
To turn off the headlines viewer you will need to click on the Tools menu and choose the Preferences submenu. You will then need to choose Headlines Viewer from the list on the left hand side of your screen and un-tick 'Show Viewer'.
This is the Multiple-Document Interface (MDI) used in Microsoft Windows. It means the windows within your Bourse Application behave like other windows applications - In MDI mode, you can cascade, tile re-size and close your Bourse windows.
Some icons are specific to certain windows eg. The Trendline icon will only appear active if the Chart window is active.
